We normally try to cover 3 of our wine regions that are in close proximity and also do 3 different tastings. These are the wine regions of Paarl, Franschhoek and the ever popular and historical Stellenbosch. We usually start off the wine tour with a proper cellar tour around 10h00 as we depart at 09h00 from Cape Town and most people feel that it is rather to early for wine tasting. This cellar tour will last till about 11h00 and will then be followed by a professional tasting conducted by an experienced worker of this cellar. Normally we start with a very big wine merchant like KWV (name of this merchant). This winery belongs to the wine region of the Paarl. On Route to Franschhoek we will drive past the prison where President Mandela was released in Cape Town after years of imprisonment. We cover a bit of this history as well as stopping for a photo stop of the new statue of this big and very popular statesman .

Our wine tours then follow the route of the historical background of the French Huguenots that fled the persecution in France and came to Cape Town and South Africa in 1688. We try to cover one of these original estates that was granted to the French Huguenots like for example Charmoniox or Haute Cabriere.This will normally also be our lunch brake.

Lastly we will then travel to beautiful Stelllenbosch. Stellenbosch has a lot to offer apart from wine. It is not only a student town with 18000 young students but it also has some of the most beautiful achitectural Cape Dutch buildings anywhere to see.We will spend some time in downtown Stellenbosch before we head out for our last wine tasting. We have about 500 estates to choose from and we can always customize the tour to accommodate some of your requests during a private tour.

Our wine tours can depart daily and are available as group or private tours. We have family options available if you want to bring the kids along. Pick ups and drop off's for the tours are done from any Cape Town hotel or surrounding areas.
