We
drive through the quaint seaside villages of Noordhoek and Kommetjie,
and our journey continues towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve
and Cape Point. At Cape Point one can walk / take
the funicular up to the look-out point for a panoramic view of the
dramatic South Western edge of Africa. Lunch can be enjoyed at restaurants
along the way, on client's own account.
We
travel from Cape Point to Boulder's Beach, a cluster of beaches
situated amongst huge granite boulders, forming a protected shoreline,
which is home to one of only two colonies of penguins on the False
bay coast. Here you can interact with the penguins while they get
up close and personal! Leaving Simon's Town, we travel via Muizenberg
back to Cape Town. These penguins have become so popular during
these tours that it has informally become the 'penguin tour'.
Cape
Point can be found along the Cape Peninsula as it dramatically curves
into the Atlantic Ocean offering breathtaking views across the mighty
two oceans - Atlantic and Indian. For ages it has created a difficult
route for ships traveling around Cape Town and South Africa, with
many crashing into the rugged shorelines by merciless winds and
waves.
The
Table Mountain Nature reserve covers most of the Cape Peninsula
along with The Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve and the penguins
at Boulder's Beach.
Cape
Point / Peninsula Tours are unique in the way that it provides so
much of The Cape Town and South Africa beauty in a single day.
